Cisco has completed its purchase of Meetinghouse Data Communications for $44m, giving it a boost in the wireless security market.

It was already written few weeks ago: Boeing shuts down Connexion by Boeing after years of heavy investments to materialize in-flight communications offerings.

IBM has bought content management and business process solutions company FileNet in an all-cash transaction worth $1.6bn.

Alcatel and Lucent have chosen their conjugal name: Alcatel Lucent. It is at no surprise but also at no innovation. We should have expected a more appealing brand.
