Mobile browsing:
in order to facilitate mobile browsing, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has encouraged consortium of Web-based companies to simplify Internet browsing from handheld devices. Two subcommittees were formed and are respectively focusing on creating policies and best practices for content providers, and developing improved device description solutions to be used by content authors to adapt their content to a particular device.
