In the UK, a series of tests, carried out by Strategy Analytics, revealed that GPRS-based TV service is today as competitive as 3G service, and can outperform some big guns such as Orange 3G TV and 3. Vodafone Live! Mobile TV was ranked first, ahead of ROK TV and MobiTV. However, none of the services was rated higher than 65/100, and many participants were less than impressed with current offerings, citing poor perceived audiovisual quality and device limitations as key barriers to adoption.
