Mobile vendor orders

Siemens won a framework contract with Russian carrier Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) to supply GSM/GPRS equipment in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine during the next year. Value: $265m.

It will also provide 3G radio systems to Vodafone Hungary.

RIM will supply Blackberry to MTS (CIS).

Nokia has won Vodafone Hungary WCDMA 3G core network deployment in the country.
