GSM's 15th anniversary

The first GSM network in the world became operational for commercial service on July 1^st, 1991. The network was built by Ericsson and the operator was Mannesmann in Germany. So it is just 15 years that the GSM adventure has begun and now more than 600 networks are open, serving more than 2bn customers worldwide. Very few markets have grown so fast, in spite of some septicism at the beginning.
