Arris posted 1Q05 revenues of $136m, up 22%, net loss of $3.4m. Broadband product revenues were $70m, down 10%, and international sales were $36m.

Highwave (France) reported FY05 revenues of €3.8m.

Microsoft posted 1Q05 revenues of $9.6bn, up 5%, and earnings of $ 2.6bn, up 94%. Windows sales were $ 3bn, with $2.3bn in profits. The Office division reported $2.8bn in sales and profit of $ 2bn.

Alcatel posted 1Q05 results: sales increased 3.7% to €2.6bn, operating profit rose 27% to €107m, but net income fell 56% to €124m. The fixed line division saw its revenues falling 9% to €987m with operating profit of €50m (up 9%). The mobile division reported sales of €789m (up 28%) but an operating profit down 18% to € 66m.

Nokia reported 1Q05: sales were up 17% to €7.4bn (of which € 4.5bn in mobile phones), operating profit is up 10% to €1.1bn, net profit is up 18% to €863m. Operating cash flow for the quarter was €1.3bn.
