OMAN to be a hub between Middle East, Asia and Africa

Omantel has signed a MoU with Reliance's Flag Telecom to build a high-speed undersea link and make Oman a key interim transition between Middle East and Africa. Internet services and leased lines will be supplied to 12 countries in the region. With links to India, China and East Asia, as well as Egypt and Europe through different existing systems.
