Nokia has been awarded HSDPA contract by SFR (France) for Paris and south of France regions; it also has bagged a GSM order from C&W in British Virgin Islands. It will provide bas stations, softswitches and professional services.

Nokia has been selected by a group of German operators (E-Plus, O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone)to provide Nokia N92 handsets and other DVB-H-enabled devices for their joint mobile TV trial.

Ericsson has been contracted by Saudi Arabian operator Mobily to build its 3G WCDMA network with HSDPA upgrade.

Huawei has been awarded a contract by Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to deploy its 3G network. It has also been awarded a GSM contract by Pakistan's Mobilink.

ZTE signed a deal with Tata Indicom (India) to build a nationwide CDMA 2000 network.
