Microsoft launches Flexgo and Intel a $180 PC

In order to ease the purchase of a PC by low-income people in emerging countries, Microsoft duplicates the mobile phone pay-as-you-go model in the PC world. Pre-paid cards will be available in Brazil, India, Mexico, Russia and China in coming months. This initiative complements the MIT project to offer $100 PC in emerging countries. Intel, however, targets to sell PC 20% cheaper than current low prices in India, in next two months.
