US Cellular had 5.3m subscribers at the end of March (+10%).

Sprint Nextel announced a mobile subscriber base of about 51m (including affiliates) at the end of March, adding 1.3m users in the quarter.

Centertel (Poland) reported 10.4m mobile subscribers on Mar. 31, up 30%.

TPSA (Poland) ADSL subscriber base rose 57% to 1.3m at the end of March 31.

Orange (FT- France) should have 2.2m mobile broadband (EDGE+ 3G) subscribers and a subscriber base of 86.5m.

China Unicom added 3.8m new mobile users in 1Q06, bringing its total customer base to 131.5m, of which 98m are GSM.

Vimpelcom (Russia) had a total of 48m users as of March 31.

Telemar' s fixed-line client base (Brazil) slipped slightly to 14.7m by the end of1Q06, while its mobile arm, Oi, expanded its subscriber base to 11.2m.

Skype achieved 100m users.

Telmex (Mexico) had 18.7m fixed line subscribers at the end of March, of which 1.2m broadband.
