Boingo has signed roaming deals with SFR (France) and Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan), adding some 300 hotspots in France and 900 hotspots in Taiwan to its roaming system. To date, the Boingo Roaming System consists of more than 30,000 hot spots around the world.

Neuf Telecom (France) launches a mobile service Neuf Mobile in France, achieving quadruple play service for its customers. With Neuf Talk Mobile, a customer can access different services: fixed voice, mobile voice, WiFi , VOIP, video and TV. Neuf WIFi is strong 32000 hotspots, thanks to a deal with FON.

VSNL (India) plans to invest $300m in new undersea cable system between India and Europe.
