Vmobile (Nigeria) has more than 5m mobile subscribers.

Celtel (Nigeria) currently has more than 15m mobile subscribers in 14 African countries.

Indosat (Indonesia) reports about 12.9m mobile subscribers (down 12%) at the end of March.

Vimpelcom (Russia) total subscriber base rose 71% to 45.4m as of December 31, 2005.
