A few set of market information released this week:

• According to In-Stat, the number of cellular phones with multimedia capability will double in the next two years.

• According to Maravedis, the number of broadband mobile connections in Brazil, such as WiMax, is expected to grow to 768,000 by 2010.

• LG predicts that the world handset market will absorb 900m units this year.

• Research and Markets predicts that still and video camera features will remain the most popular function of soon-to-be released phones.

• Norson forecasts that the number of Chinese 3G subscribers will reach 84m in 2008, and 5.5m 3G users in the first 12 months.

• According to Gartner, France has the most households in Europe with TV access via the Internet with some 1.7m homes connected on a total of 3.3m.

• Research and Markets predicts more than 350m households demanding for VOD by 2010.
