US Mobile Video Services
Contrasting with similar European researches (reported in Telcoflash in previous issues), US consumers expressed a limited interest in mobile video services. Only 2% of U.S. users currently subscribe to a wireless video service, and 41% could be interested in watching video on their handsets. We are far from the 76% of UK respondents, or 68% for France. JupiterResearch has found that US growing demand for video will generate $500m in revenues by 2010.
