A Juniper deal rumor continues to fly. Ericsson is given as a possible contender as it is reselling Juniper gear since 2000 and a deal fits well with Ericsson' s portfolio, but in spite of many analysts saying the deal is unlikely as Ericsson is not in a buying mood. Lucent and Siemens, two other large Juniper resellers, could also be interested. Simultaneously, Juniper is said on the buying side with rumors it is interested by an Ethernet player such as Extreme Networks, Force 10 Networks or Foundry Networks. Pray or predator, everybody agrees that Juniper has something to do to expand their business.
