With the current trend of transferring patients from the hospitals to home care settings, in order to make substantial costs cuts for health care facilities, the development of wearable wireless monitoring systems is strongly benefiting from growing popularity of home care and significantly improved patient mobility. In hospitals also, the cost burden to lay wires and cables has been avoided by the use of wireless networking in most European markets.

But in my mind, it should be useful first to prove that there is no radiation risk for human health.
