Alcatel announced a health care communications solution enabling physicians, nurses and medical staff to advance the workflow processes. Nortel demonstrated anytime, anywhere Healthcare Information access for doctors and nurses, mobility with location-awareness, remote diagnosis over broadband wireless. NEC also exhibit its full suite of healthcare solutions, including specialized offerings developed to improve workflow process management, patient relationship management, etc. Cisco pushes healthcare solution for clinicians who can receive mobile medical alarms, such as electrocardiogram alerts.
