Mobile video interoperability

GSMA has begun interoperability trials to ensure that mobile users will be able to share video across networks. The goal is to ensure that this service will work across as many mobile devices as possible and across both fixed and mobile networks in a fast and efficient way. The tests make use of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) technology and are conducted in the US, Europe and Asia. Teliasonera, Ericsson, LG Electronics, Lucent, Motorola, Nokia, NEC, Samsung Electronics, Siemens and Sony-Ericsson are involved in the tests.
