ip.access (UK) would have received a $500m order for 7m femtocell units from ATT Mobility.

ALU has signed a $56m contract with LTT (Lybia) for a WiMAX network that could cover 300,000 customers. It will deploy an IMS-based VOIP solution for SureWest (California).

Samsung will supply mobile WiMAX equipment to UQ (Japan).

Huawei is rolling out a HSDPA network for Claro (Brazil). It has signed a MoU with Iranian telco TCI on training cooperation, and was selected by MobileOne (Singapore) to rollout and upgrade its 3G/HSPA network. It won a major contract from O2 Germany to expand its network.

Cisco delivered its Ethernet products to Sonaecom (Portugal).

NSN will deliver a complete information security management system for China Netcom' s data communication network (DCN) covering 31 provinces. It won a contract from Tusmobil (Slovenia) for 400 base stations.

Airspan has been selected by Vodacom Lesotho to deploy its WiMAX base stations, and by CTS Gibraltar for a WiMAX expansion on the rock.
