Sony Ericsson sells the W 760a Walkman handset to ATT under a 2-year contract.

Huawei and NSN are selected to build Bell and Telus' HSPA network in Canada.

Ericsson is expanding Grameenphone (Bangladesh)' s all-IP core network. It won a contract from Kuzey Kibris Turkcell (Northern Cyprus) for providing a 3G network.

NSN delivers its charge@once solution to Zain Kuwait. Du (UAE) has chosen NSN for network expansion.

ALU will double the capacity of the EASSy submarine cable system to 1.4 Terabit/s. It has been selected by Vodacom (S. Africa) to upgrade its existing 3G network. It will provide FTTB network expansion to Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan).

ZTE received a $400m order from Aircel (India) for network expansion.
