Nokia will build a mobile TV trial network for EMTEK in Indonesia during 2H06. It will also deploy an HSDPA network for Wataniya Telecom in Kuwait, and won a a convergent charging solution contract from Hutchison Telecom Indonesia.

Microsoft has won orders from Vodafone, T-Mobile Netherlands, and Cingular for mobile push e-mail service.

Lucent got a contract from T-Mobile (Germany) for analysis and optimization services of its 3G network in Europe. It also received an order from the European Commission to provide analysis of Europe's electronic communications infrastructure. It also has been awarded a billing contract from Vistream (MVNE in Germany).

Ericsson is selected by Sun Cellular (Philippines) to expand its GSM network with softswitches and BSS equipment. It will also supply an end-to-end WAP billing solution to UK ZapDance. Ericsson will build Canada' s Rogers 3G HSDPA network. The order is worth $278m over three years. Ericsson signs contract to manage and host ONE's music and entertainment portal in Austria.

Nortel has signed a three-year contract with Cingular to provide GSM and UMTS network services and equipment.

Samsung has signed a contract with France' s Bouygues Telecom to supply digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) phones.

XIT Wireless has selected Alcatel' s NGN solution to expand its mobile network.

Alcatel will also provide a complete end-to-end interactive Mobile Music Solution to StarHub (Singapore).

LogicaCMG will deploy an innovative Mobile Virtual Network Operator-Enabler (MVNO-E) platform at Swisscom Mobile.
