KPN (NL) announced 4Q05 net profit of €608m (+12%), an operating profit of €695m (+10%) and revenues of €3.1bn (up 5%).
E-Plus reports 4Q05 revenues of € 755m (up 7.4%) and an operating profit of €214m, up 8%.
America Movil (Mexico and LATAM) reported 4Q05 revenues of $5bn, up 28%, and EBITDA of $1.45bn, up 46%, and a net profit of $1.4bn. Full year revenues were $17.4bn, EBITDA rose 27% to $5.2bn and net profit was $3bn.
BASE (Belgium) announced its EBITDA grew 71% to €204m; revenues rose 28% to €548m and capex rose 179% to €117m.
SingTel (Singapore) reports a 16% increase in 4Q05 net profit to $543m, group revenue of $2.1bn (+4%) and EBITDA of $687m (down 5.5%).
Globe Telecom (Philippines) posted 2005 net profit of $200m, down 9%, EBITDA of $620m (-3%) and net revenues of $1.1bn (up 4%).
BT announced 2% growth in 4Q05 profits, boosted by growth at the operator's broadband business, to $990m, with revenues of $8.5bn (+8%) and EBITDA of $2.4bn (down 1%).
Rogers (Canada) reported 4Q profit of $500m (+14%) on revenues of $2.1bn (+35%). For the year, revenues were $7.5bn (+35%) and profit of $2.1bn (+24%).
Elisa (Finland) posts 4Q profit of €33m, down 50%, on revenues of €343m, down 2%. EBITDA also fell 22% to €95m.
Telstra announced 6-month earnings of $1.6bn (down 10%), on revenues of $8.6bn (+2%).
MobilNil (Egypt) said 2005 revenues rose 19% to $940, and net income up 65% to $252m.
Iliad (France) reported €724m in 2005 revenues, up 47%.
Brazil Embratel posts 4Q05 loss of $8m, improved from last year loss of $98m, on revenues of $890m (+4%). EBITDA totaled $ 162m, up 5%.
Teliasonera said its 4Q05 sales were up 8% to $3bn and its EBITDA was down 5% to $915m. For the year, Teliasonera reported sales at $11.3bn (+7%) and EBITDA was down 3% to $3.8bn.
