SFR (France), the mobile arm of Vivendi Universal, reported 17.2m (+9%) mobile subscribers, of which 1m 3G users.
Indonesia had about 43.5m mobile users at end-Sept. 2005, or a penetration of 19%.
According to Teleco, Brazil could pass 108m mobile user mark in 2006.
T-Com (Germany) currently has 8.5m DSL connections (+10%), of which 7.9m in Germany.
Argentina: 20m mobile users at the end of 2005.
Spain: more than 5m (+45%) broadband connections, of which 77% ADSL, 22% cable.
S. Africa: Vodacom currently has about 157k 3G users 'after 12 months of operations), while rival MTN has about 28k 3G subscribers after 6 months of operations.
Hungary: 9.3m mobile users at the end of 2005. T-Mobile has about 45% market share, followed by Pannon 34% and Vodafone with 21%.
