Hutchison Whampoa said it has 11m 3G subscribers.

Cesky Telecom (Czech Republic) announced 275,000 ADSL subscribers (+175%).

SFR (France) says its 3G clients base surpass 1m, aiming now for 2.5m by end-2006.

Australia has 2.5m broadband customers, according to ACCC,

MTS Belarus has 2,1m subscribers as of January 1,

UBS Securities estimated that the broadband subscriber base of China Telecom and China Netcom will rise to 63m with an annual growth rate of 28% from 2005 to 2008.

Japan: DoCoMo added 251k new users in Dec. 05, to a total of 50,4m (of which 20m are 3G FOMA); KDDI reported the addition of 348k new users to a total of 21,6m (of which 20,6m are 3G CDMA); Vodafone KK reports 2,3m 3G subscribers on a total of 15,2m users.

Kyivstar (Ukraine) reports 14m mobile users (+1,4m in Dec.05).
