Rostelecom (Russia) reports its FY1H net profit amounted to $107m, up 450%, on revenues of $1.3bn, up 8%. OIBDA surged 43% to $281m.

Vimpelcom (Russia) said its 3Q07 revenues jumped 44% to $2bn, while net income soared 71% to $458m.
