Nortel provided a WiMAX solution to state of Kentucky.

NSN signed a fixed network contract with DTAC Network to provide its International Gateway solution.

ALU will build the Mediterranean Sea segment of the MENA submarine cable system for Orascom Telecom. It will provide IP routers to Korea’s KINX, and will build one of the world’s largest Next-Generation Networks for WANA in Morocco. ALU has signed a contract with VMS Mobifone (Vietnam) for mobile gear. It will deploy a data network in and around Moscow for MRS (Russia).

Ericsson and Redback will upgrade Guangdong Telecom' s broadband network.
