A few set of market information released this week:

According to Idate, 18% of broadband access would be provided via fiber access in western Europe by 2010-2012, while 9% would be supplied by VDSL.
According to Infonetics Research, the worldwide PON equipment market rose 3% to $400m in 2Q07.
Infonetics Research reports that the worldwide optical network hardware market would post the highest annual revenue in 2007 since the optical market crashed in 2001. The 2Q07 worldwide optical network hardware market was $3.5bn, up 14%. 35%of all optical network hardware revenue came from EMEA, 34% from North America, 25% from Asia Pacific, and 6% from CALA.
The worldwide service provider router and switch market jumped 1% in 2Q07 qoq, hitting $2.7bn, according to Infonetics.
