According to the DSL Forum and Point Topic, IPTV customer base rose 179% to over 8.2m by June 2007, of which over 60% in Europe. APAC accounted for 27% and Americas for over 13%.

According to Point Topic, DSL has a 2/3 share of the broadband access connections, while cable has 22% and fiber 11%.

China leads the DSL connections with almost 45m, followed by the US with almost 28m and Germany with almost 17m.
