Nokia is trialling Push to talk over Cellular (PoC) service in the Swedish market with 3 Scandinavia. It will provide its Intelligent Content Delivery (ICD) system to Idea Cellular (India).

Nokia will expand Indosat's GSM radio and core networks in Bali and in Java.

Ericsson a five-year agreement for hosted Ringback Tones with 3 Italy.

Siemens is supplying high-speed Internet technology (ATM, DSL) and new mobile communication technology (GSM, microwave, GPRS) to Tele Greenland (Greenland). It signed a $20m contract with Oman Mobile to extend GSM radio capacity and coverage.
