Mobile vendor orders N52

Lucent has inked two service contracts with PTC (Poland) to maintain its mobile network

Ericsson will supply its IMS solution to Telecom Italia, and TeliaSonera.

Motorola won a GSM/ EDGE contract with Mobily (Saudi Arabia).

LogicaCMG won a 3G video contract with Maxis (Malaysia).

Alcatel signed a $685m contract with Nigerian Globacom, and won T-Mobile USA order to enhance its mobile core network. It won SFR (France) contract for its 5020 Spatial Atrium Softswitch.

Nortel will update Slovakian EuroTel core mobile network to GPRS. It will also operate RFF (France railways operator) GSM-R network.

Nokia will cooperate with TeliaSonera on IMS solutions.
