China had 376m mobile subscribers at the end of September, and could have about 390m at the end of the year.

T-Online (Germany) has 4,6m DSL subscribers at the end of 3Q05.

Japan: DoCoMo added 90k new users in October, bringing the total to 50m, of which 17,6m 3G users and 32,4m 2G users. KDDI gained 235k new customers in October for a total of 21m subscribers.

SingTel (Singapore) said its mobile subscribers totaled 74m (up 2,9m) at the end of September, of which 1,7m in Singapore, and 6,1m in Australia,

Hutchison Telecom has a 15m mobile subscriber base, up 34%.

Nigeria expects 20m telephone subscribers by the end of December this year.

Telefonica Moviles Argentina had 7,4m subscribers by the end of September.
