France Telecom' s results
France Telecom' s results: FT posts 3Q05 revenues of €12.2bn, up 3.8%, of which €5.6bn (flat) in fixed-line unit. FT cuts its target of yearly sales growth to 3% instead of 3-5%. EBITDA rose 2% to € 4.9bn, but FT did not provide net income figures. The 3Q05 capex to revenues ratio was 11.4%. The Personal communications division (Orange) sales were up 6.7 % to €5.9bn, of which sales in France of €2.5bn (+5%) and €1.5bn (flat) in the UK; the division has 70m customers, up 17%. The Home communication division sales were €5.6 bn, down 1.8%, while the Enterprise division sales dropped 7.4%. Wanadoo has 6.9m customers, of which 4m in France (+6%) and 2.9m in the Rest of Europe (+74%). FT has 484k VOIP users, and 142k IPTV customers (+109%).
