Telesp Celular (Brazil) ended September 05 with 19.4m customers, up 2%.

Tele Centro Oeste Celular (Brazil) had 6.6m mobile subscribers at the end of Sept. (up 23.6%).

Hungary reports 90% mobile penetration rate in the country with 9.7m active mobile users.

China' s fixed main line reached 345m in Sept. 05.

Free/ Iliad currently has 1.4m Internet subscribers, adding some 100k users per quarter. 90% of its users have the Freebox terminal allowing triple play services and 159k users subscribed to paid-IPTV.

Verizon Wireless ended September with almost 50m mobile subscribers, while Sprint Nextel reported 45.6m and Cingular 52.3m.
