3M reports 3Q05 sales of $5.4bn, up 8.3%, and net earnings of $853m, up 10%.

Motorola announced record results: 305 sales were up 26% to $9.4bn and net income rose 300% to $1.75bn.

Intel reported record revenue of $9.96bn, up 18%, and net earnings of $2bn, up 5%. Gross margin is close to 60%.
