InfoTech reveals that PBX vendors are in the first position followed by suppliers of data network devices for the supply of IP telephony (IPT) systems to the mid-market segment.
According to In-Stat, the market for multi-service business gateway equipment will ramp-up beginning in 2007; NA will account for 43% of shipments and EU for 33%.
According to IDATE/Alexander Resources, the WiMAX market is forecast to reach $3.5 bn and account for 4% of all broadband usage by 2010.
According to Infonetics Research, the worldwide metro Ethernet equipment revenue would more than double between 2004 and 2008, from $3.1bn to $7.6bn. The worldwide carrier Ethernet switch and router revenue hit $183m in 2004, and will grow to $2.6bn in 2008, representing 34% of the metro Ethernet equipment market.
