Time Warner could be in talks to sell a stake in its America Online Internet unit to Microsoft, with the launch of a JV between AOL Online and Microsoft.

Centrica (UK energy retailer)could sell stake in OneTel, a UK fixed-line telephony, Internet and mobile services provider. The company is estimated to be worth £220m. FT and Virgin are believed to be potential buyers.

BSNL (India) is launching open bidding for its $5bn tender for installing additional 60m GSM lines.

Malaysia plans to launch five satellites during the next five years.
