T-Mobile plans launching HSDPA in Germany in Spring 06.
Softbank (Japan) has applied for government approval to enter the mobile phone service business. If approved, Softbank plans to start mobile services as early as 2006.
eAccess, which offers ADSL broadband services in Japan, also plans to apply for a license to start high-speed mobile phone services.
