Ciena reported FY 3Q05 (ended July 31^st) revenues of $ 110.5m, up 46%, and a net loss of $ 51m (vs loss of $141m last year). For the nine months, Ciena achieved net loss of $183m and revenues of $ 309m.

SeaChange posted a 39% drop in revenue to $ 26m and a net loss of $6.6m. The CEO blamed later than anticipated telco VOD deployments.
