Sprint Nextel will buy two network affiliates-IWO Holdings and Gulf Coast Wireless - for $715m, in an attempt to settle dispute with the two affiliates.

KPN has received the green light for the purchase of Dutch mobile operator Telfort. KPN will now controls about 53% of the Dutch market.

Hutchison Telecom plans to invest $500m in India over the next three years. It is always in talks with its Indian partner Essar to buy some mobile businesses.

b.mobile (Brunei) has rolled out 3G service in the country, after two-month testing.

T-Mobile Hungary is launching commercial 3G service in Budapest.

American Movil plans to invest $625m in its Colombian unit, Comcel.
