Fixed vendor orders - 26/8/05

Alcatel is providing ONI (Portugal) with its Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) solution in order to offer advanced broadband services. It will trial WiMAX with @rteria in Alsace region. Brennercom (Italy) has selected it for the expansion of its voice and data network. Its ASB arm in China won major overseas deals mainly from East Europe and Asia.

Cisco will supply T-Com (Germany) with IP/MPLS upgrade to its 12000 routers.

Redback provides China Netcom with Smartedge service Gateway, Ethernet aggregation, subscriber management and edge routers.

Siemens won order from German Federal Armed Forces to upgrade Air Force IT systems.

Alvarion is supplying WiMAX technology to Americatel Peru.

Ericsson will provide 10,000 ADSL 2+ lines using Ericsson's Ethernet DSL Access solution to Greek wireline operator Vivodi Telecom.
