Cisco will resell EMC's NAS products, and it will buy Airespace, a wireless LAN switch vendor, for $450m.

IBM has acquired SRD, a provider of identity resolution software. In another move, it will give free access to 500 patents.

Tut Systems bought Cosine for $ 24m.

Siemens and Microsoft formed a strategic worldwide sales and marketing alliance to jointly offer business communications products for internet-based videoconferences, instant messaging and other functions.

Samsung made strategic investment in DivXNetworks, leading video technology company. It will also resell, under a non-exclusive global reseller agreement, Sonus products.

HP will resell Brocade next-gen midrange SAN switch solution. HP could have reached an agreement with Falconstor to develop a new virtualization product.

ZTE is teaming with Portugal Telecom to bring to market a range of new products and services, and to jointly bid for supplying telecommunications technology and services all over the world.
