Huawei has been awarded an All IP Network for QSC in Germany. It signs a deal with Saudi Telecom to deploy the first WiMAX 802.16e-based network in the Middle East.

Nortel will deliver an IPTV solution to Nsight Telservices, a Midwestern U.S. regional telecom provider. It will deliver its Metro Ethernet solutions to CBN, Indonesia's largest ISP.

Alvarion will deploy a WiMAX network for Emtel in Mauritius.

Ericsson has signed a managed services deal for DT Germany microwave network.
