Omantel (Oman) would buy 65% stake in Worldcall (Pakistan) for about $156m.

Portugal Telecom sells 22% stake in African investment holding company to private equity fund Helios for about €330m.

FT targets to acquire as large a stake as possible in Vietnamese mobile operator MobiFone.

KPN (NL) is in talks to buy Tele2 Belgium for about €100m, and said it is not interested in Bouygues Telecom (France)

Orange (France) could be the iPhone distributor in France.

SingTel (Singapore) will swap its 24.5% shareholding in Tiwan New Century InfoComm (NCIC) for a 4% stake in Taiwanese mobile player FarEasTone. The deal is worth $185m.

Tele2 is rumored to divest from its loss-making German unit.
