US Broadband growth decelerating

Publié le par Jean Arnal

A study of Pew Internet and American Life Project said that the US broadband connections addition growth rate is slowing down after strong growth in the 2004-2006 period. Between March 2006 and March 2007, growth has been “only” of 12%, vs 40% a year ago. The “easiest connections” have been made, and now operators will have to struggle to grab new connections in the less-intense Internet users and rural population that do not have demand for high speed.
