In France, mobile number portability is a success with over 110,000 numbers were switching operators while retaining their phone number in one month.

3 UK plans to launch BREW handsets to offer highly-integrated, feature-rich applications.

Telekom Malaysia is negotiating to raise its stake in MobileOne (Singapore) to below 30%, from about current 24%. It plans to spend $145m per year on 3G network in Malaysia.
