It was already known: FT plans to lay off some 22,000 workers by the end of 2008. According to La Tribune, the cost is estimated to about €2bn. 9600 jobs were scratched in 2006, 5900 jobs will be eliminated by the end of this year and another 5600 by the end of 2008. FT plans to reach 100,000 workers in 2008.
