117m UMTS / HSDPA subscribers

According to Informa, UMTS/HSDPA has become the most widely deployed 3G technology and market leader, with 117m subscribers worldwide, and 167 operators in 69 countries offering UMTS services, far ahead of the 55m CDMA EV-DO subscribers and 71 operators in 44 countries delivering CDMA high speed data. That means that more than 2/3 of mobile broadband users are using UMTS/HSDPA technology.
