Cisco FY3Q results

Cisco announced solid FY3Q07 results. Net income went at $1.9bn (+36%), on revenues of $8.9bn, up 22%, including $752m from Scientific-Atlanta. Results are beating forecasts. The Cisco management is optimist on continued solid growth in coming months: +15% in FY4Q to about $9.2bn, and particularly in international markets. The US enterprise market has shown some weakness and contracted to mid-single digit growth, but Cisco minimised the impact, saying it is only 13% of its total sales.
