Ericsson announced it has completed the acquisition of all remaining shares of Tandberg TV. In a separate statement it announced it will change its financial reporting to reflect a new business segment structure and publishes restated information for comparative prior year interim periods. Ericsson will report the following business segments: Networks, Professional Services and Multimedia.

Fixed networks:

Motorola will buy Terayon for about $140m to boost its video business.

Mobile networks:

RIM opens Blackberry to OS Windows Mobile 2007.
