Swisscom has launched a €3.7bn friendly bid for Fastweb (Italy).

Essar Group (India) asked $ 7.5bn to exit Hutch Essar JV, but finally has found an agreement on Hutch Essar management with Vodafone. Vodafone CEO will become vice-Chairman while Essar will appoint three directors.

ATT is considering scaling back its partnership with Yahoo! Yahoo would loose about $250m in annual revenues.
